Spotlight NV, Presented by Nevada Arts Council

Spotlight NV returns for the 2026 RTIA Show this September 17-20, 2026! With the continued aim of expanding the Heart of Reno segment to showcase artists (who otherwise could not participate) from the entire state of Nevada, the Nevada Arts Council presents 'Spotlight NV,' a sponsored presentation of statewide artists. The sponsored pavilions allow for 20 total exhibitors, with (8) end cap booths at 4'Wx8'H, (8) 8'Wx8'H booths and (4) space only sculpture/furniture/3D installation work at 40 sq ft each. The cost of exhibiting (booth with lighting) will covered in full. Of the 20 exhibitors selected, 50% (10) will be accepted from the Reno Tahoe region and the remaining 50% will be selected from outside the region. To give more artists an opportunity to exhibit at RTIA, previous recipients and registered exhibitors are ineligible for this year's program. As a commercial event, all exhibitors are required to be present for all open hours of the RTIA Show to engage with attendees and buyers. Artists may apply for ONE of the space options and are encouraged to do so based on size and scope of the work to be exhibited. Final participants will be announced on August 15, 2026.

What does it mean to you personally to be a Nevada based artist? How do you feel your work adds to the forward motion of the statewide Arts & Culture movement?

If selected to exhibit within the Nevada Arts Council sponsored space, I agree to be present at the event for the duration of the show days as well as set up (booth to be set by 4pm 9/17) and breakdown (9/20 after 5pm and 9/21) following the fair

I agree that, if selected, the artwork I will exhibit at the RTIA Show is not obscene or of prurient nature to ensure it follows the rules of state funding. If deemed inappropriate, RTIA Show management will remove the art and ask the exhibitor to leave the premises.
